On January 10, 2019, the Private Sector Humanitarian Platform (PSHP) held its first General Assembly of the year 2019.
This first meeting was marked by the presence of Mrs. Violette Kakyomya, Resident Coordinator of the United Nations System (UN System) in Madagascar, and Mr. Charles Rambolarison, Second Executive Secretary of the National Office for Risk and Disaster Management (BNGRC). They particularly commended and encouraged the private sector for its involvement and significant contribution in humanitarian humanitarian aid. PSHP was also thanked for its collaboration with partners and stakeholders working in this area.
During the event, the achievements of the year 2018 as well as the perspectives for this year 2019 were presented.
The new year promises to be rich in projects and new partnerships, for the development of the Platform’s activities in humanitarian reliefs, but also within the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
