This workshop was held in the East Region of Madagascar (Atsinanana) at the Miou-Miou Club on July 12, 2018.
Each year, the National Office for Risk and Disaster Management or BNGRC, supported by its partners, organizes an update of planning tools to increase the level of emergencies preparation and management before disasters. This process includes an improvement in the know-how of both national and local actors, with the aim of greater involvement in the disaster risk management cycle, especially for the post-disaster response phase. The Private Sector Humanitarian Platform (PSHP), as a humanitarian actor, proposed to hold a regional and technical meeting to explain the goals and objectives of its commitments. The mission of PSHP was supported by CARE International Madagascar under the “Farimbogna” Program. . Specifically, the goal is: Inform and sensitize private sector actors about humanitarian assistance activities in previous years, sensitize the actors, SMEs, society, group, on the possibility of increasing the impacts of their activities in order to pooling inputs.
